Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding is a process of planting that is often used in sloped landscapes or areas susceptible to erosion but it can also be used as an alternative to traditional planting methods like broadcast seeding (manual by hand or mechanically). With Hydroseeding, a mixture, or slurry of seeds, mulch, water, and fertilizer are sprayed over ground that has been prepared for germination. Hydroseeding can cover a large area or a tough-to-thrive spot and is a winner at producing beautiful, dense green lawns.

Garden State Earthworks specializes in hydroseed application to provide any and all of your germination needs. Our services include wetland mitigation, slope mediation, sports athletic fields, embankment stabilization, residential yards, trench recovery, and school yards for boards of education.
